Prototyping
I use a combination of linear animation software and actionscript and flash to create interactive prototypes to bring my projects to life, validate design decisions, and test interactions. Prototyping my design work allows me to build realistic experiences for device UI's and provide animation and motion design that is easily translated into engineer ready specifications for devices.

Motion Design
Motion design is increasingly becoming more important in a polished user experience. Animation and transitional motion not only add to the aesthetics of an experience, but they also orient users in an interface and help them build mental models of the systems we design. Motion communicates ideas around complex interactions, transitions, and state changes that usually are not thought of until after the design phase.

Drawing & Illustration
Drawing and illustration isn’t a seperate service that I offer my clients. The skill of drawing and illustration is an indespensable part of my design process. Traditional training in life and theory drawing has given me the ability to quickly sketch UI ideas, illustrate product scenarios and communicate my thoughts and ideas.

My experience designing visual systems for a wide variety of platforms and operating systems has given me a deep understanding of the environments that my designs are realized in. I can maximize visual quality and consistency in graphical assets and deliver optimized files that are pixel perfect and platform appropriate.

I have 9 years of experience designing and building websites for an array of clients. I provide front end development services. My skillset writing actionscript, CSS, HTML, and PHP allows me to design and realize interactive web experiences.
